Since I haven't blogged in a long time, I've decided to do an extra long post with all kinds of information and fun-times. First, the news.
Christina and I bought a house a coupla weeks ago. It's pretty cool. We like it a lot. We've been trying to move in but simply don't have much time right now; I'm busy with my new job at OTC, and she's still helpin' push onions and sweet potatoes all over the country at Market Fresh Produce in Nixa.
We're going up to KC this weekend for my friend Doug's wedding. We'll leave after work today.
Christina's going back to school in the fall; a second master's degree from MSU, this time in Student Affairs. I'm quite proud of her. She's also very beautiful. That's always news in my book.
Well, that's that. Now in true blogging form, I'll talk about some great stuff I've seen around the web lately.
Check out this guy's photos. Famous photographs and paintings done Lego-style. Brilliant.
Springfield, MO may have a yellow bike system soon; at least, someone's trying to do it. This looks to be fairly recent news. Hope it works out. It's a good idea!
If you haven't checked out thesixtyone yet, you should.
...and if you haven't checked out M83's new album yet, you should. ("I'll decide my needs!" they all yelled.)
You all know the new iPhone 3G is out, right? With the price reduction, I might get one this time around.
THIS IS AWESOME. I wasted like, a half hour on it last week. It's enthralling.
For all you coders, MooTools released the new version of their javascript framework yesterday. Makin' websites fun, without all the Flash. Check out the demos. Good times.
Well, I'll wrap it up there. If you know me, look me up on Facebook. I check that a lot. I'll try to blog more, too. I think I need it.
This is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. Number 4, I think... ...were I to make a list.
From the first time I heard it, its sound seemed nostalgic. I can't explain why or how that could happen... Still, there's no denying the effect this album has on me. By the by, The Appleseed Cast is writing and recording again. Of course I am hoping for another "Two Conversations" sort of album. But even if it isn't, they've created one masterpiece, and that's more than most can boast of in a lifetime. So good luck, I say.
